Hi, everyone, I’m happy to announce that the new recording from blink., The Architects (Whistler Records), is now officially available!!  It’s been pressed in cassette format that also comes with a hi-resolution download of the entire album + liner notes, or in digital-only format.  Also, for those in Chicago this Wednesday, head over to the Whistler as the Architects will be featured as part of their 50 Free Records promotion.  See below for more details.  In other news, our next show will be on Thursday, May 19th at the Empty Bottle in Chicago when we’ll be opening for Helen Money.  Thanks for all of your support, I hope to see you out there!!

blink. recently returned from our first European tour to the Netherlands where we played in Eindhoven, Tilburg, and Amsterdam.  I want to thank everyone in the band and those we worked with and met along the way, it was truly a wonderful experience!  Also, it would not have been possible without the crowdfunding project on RocketHub that was a huge success.  This is a quickly growing movement where fans and supporters can help contribute to a project and receive merchandise, etc. in return.  Check out the link above to learn more.  As 2011 begins we’re planning a run of Chicago and Milwaukee shows in March and I’m working toward a return trip to Europe.  There’s also lots of new content in the video and photo sections of this website so please take some time to look and listen.  Happy New Year!!!

Our second full-length album is done!  Manny Sanchez and Chris Harden at the I.V. Lab did another incredible job so thanks to them.  Our first European tour is fast-approaching to the Netherlands in December, check our schedule for details.  And you can watch a video of us performing “Protect From Light” at our June 2010 set at Strobe Studios.  Enjoy, and please come back soon!

Welcome to the new home of blink.! We’re excited to be playing out first show of 2010 on Wednesday February 17th at the Whistler in Chicago and recording our second album with Manny Sanchez at the I.V. Lab, just two days later. Our first European tour is coming together nicely where we’ll be visiting the Netherlands at the end of the year so keep checking back for more dates and information soon. In the meantime, you can also hear some samples of new songs in the Audio section. And please feel free to contact us if you like what you hear or have any questions about the band!
